Our Design process
We start with a visit to your property to understand the space, surroundings, and how you want to use it. This is where we gather all the details, from lifestyle needs to design preferences, so we can shape a concept that works in harmony with your environment.
Using the insights from our visit, we create a tailored design plan. This includes mood boards, layout concepts, planting suggestions, and materials. We work closely with you throughout this phase to refine the ideas and make sure everything aligns with your vision.
Once you’re happy with the concept, we finalise the design into a detailed master plan. This includes scaled drawings, plant lists, construction details, and documentation ready for build.

How much input will I have in the design?
Your input is key to the entire process. We’ll work closely with you from the start, making sure your ideas and preferences are woven into the design. It’s a collaboration, not a handover.
Can you work with my existing garden or features?
Absolutely. We often design around existing trees, structures, or natural elements to maintain character and make the most of what’s already there.
Do I need a design if I already know what I want?
Even if you have a clear idea, a detailed design ensures everything fits together, complies with local guidelines, and is ready for construction without delays or surprises.
How long does the design process take?
This depends on the complexity of your space and brief. On average, from consultation to final plans, it can take between 2-6 weeks.
Can I use the design to get quotes elsewhere?
Yes. Once the design is finalised, it’s yours to keep. If you choose to get quotes from other landscapers, you’re free to do so. We just hope you’ll stay with us!
What does a landscape design cost?
Our design fees vary depending on size and scope. After our initial site visit, we’ll provide a clear fee proposal so you know exactly what to expect.
