Beare Gardens is a Ballarat-based landscape design, construction and garden maintenance company that has a wealth of experience and knowledge, offering you a level of professionalism unsurpassed in the landscaping industry. Founded by Matt Beare, Beare Gardens has been designing and constructing unique gardens since 2016.
Working alongside sub-contractors and in collaboration with architects, builders and interior designers, we ensure to bring cohesion between the elements and harmonise workflow. At Beare Gardens, we believe that landscape is equally as important as the architecture of a house and there should be a seamless relationship between the two. Through careful selection of plantings, strategic placement of hardscape elements, and consideration of sightlines, we ensure that every aspect of the landscape complements the property’s aesthetics.

When Beare Gardens was first established in 2014 it started out as a simple garden maintenance business, but it didn’t take long for Matt to realise that he was interested in more than just garden maintenance and his passion for landscaping begun.
After completing certificate III in Landscape Construction, Matt then went on to further his studies with the Australian Academy of Garden Design.
With a deep love of design and a passion for construction details, Matt brings a thoughtful and meticulous approach to every project, ensuring the highest level of quality and workmanship, and resulting in unique, meaningful designs to bring each clients visions to life.
Lariesha Beare
Co-Founder
What started out as giving Matt a hand on her days off, quickly became a shared passion and love of landscaping and in late 2019 Lariesha officially started at Beare Gardens.
Lariesha’s roll at Beare Gardens include, goal setting, quality control, marketing and social media, alongside helping assist Matt on a range of other business activities including labouring and design.
With a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for interior and exterior design, you can be reassured that whatever the vision together both Lariesha and Matt will bring it life!

When we say Beare Gardens is a small family ran business we truly mean it!
Not only has John been apart of the Beare Gardens team for the past few years, but a part of the family for many more! A respected colleague, and ace on the welder, John has over 4 yrs of experience at Beare Gardens.
While not at work, John is a dedicated husband and father, regularly spending his weekends on the sidelines of the soccer fields.
